I have a public confession to make. Judge me if you choose but I am going on the record of saying it: “I did ‘it’ with Tiger.”

Are you wondering exactly what was the “it” that I did? Well, “it” is sin. In fact, we all have sinned and fallen short of God’s glory just like Tiger. (Romans 3:23)

When I learned about how sin impacted my life and how God had already provided a way for me to experience true life, I confessed my sins and believed that Christ saved me. Then, and only then, did I gain freedom.

Now, what does this have to do with Tiger?

I believe that now more than ever is a time when we should see pass the point and blame ways of the world and go back to the Bible. James 5:16 says that we should confess our sins to one another and pray for each others’ healing.

There may be thousands of men and women out there right now struggling with this same issue of infidelity that we have seen carried out in the media through the life of Tiger and the women he engaged. Many of these men and women may love the Lord but struggle with this sin issue.

People, we need to be praying for marital healing throughout this land.

Are we going to pray or point the finger?

Until next time, remember…

We Are Light in darkness.
